"Skepticism is my nature. Free thought is my methodology. Agnosticism is my conclusion. Atheism is my opinion. Humanitarianism is my motivation." — Jerry DeWitt

Cult classic sci-fi on Turner Classic Movies today (all times CST)!
12:30pm - It! The Terror from Beyond Space (1958)1:45pm - Them! (1954)3:30pm - The Thing from Another World (1951)5:00pm - The Time Machine (1960)
One of my all-time favorite movies, and a landmark of the sci-fi genre, is The Time Machine. The Thing ‘51 is indeed the film that John Carpenter remade in 1982 (not to mention the regrettable 2011 film). It! and Them! are both very good for their time, although don’t let that run you off: I never use that phrase to excuse a bad movie… they really are worth watching.TRIVIA: Both The Thing and Them! star a pre-Gunsmoke James Arness (who played the iconic Marshall Matt Dillon on the show). He plays the villain in one and the hero in the other, respectively.
